This week we are moving on to study Multiplication. All students have completed testing this week as a group and I am is individually testing all students to ensure that I plan to each students needs. Please parents ensure that your child is continually practicing their multiplication facts at home. Make it fun and challenge each other.

Statistics 13th Feb 2013 on PhotoPeach
Caitlin: Yesterday Mrs Rush asked us to record the amount of time we spent on the Computer,watching T.V, reading and going outside.This morning we tallied everything up and then in partners made it into a bar graph.Did you know some people spend 3 hours of their day watching T.V crazy aye!

Statistics
This week we have been investigating statistical investigations.
We have been using the same data and looking at variables in the data.
Using Class gender to start with on our first 3D graph student put their sheets on the window so we could see in a very quick graph if there were more boys than girls, the answer is obvious:
The next day we changed our data around so that we differentiated the different gender and year groups. This was an excellent example as you can see below we discovered;
In our room there are more boy students in total than girl students, the biggest group of students in the class are year 6 girls.
We look forward to keeping on working with data, data collection, data display and analyzing data next week.
